CONSULTING ENGINEER
From 1988 to 2004, I was a Control System Engineer with Waldemar S Nelson and Company in New Orleans, Louisiana working projects from Copper Mining Processing Facilities in Indonesia to Major Deepwater Platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
Designing and implementing instrumentation, control system and process safety designs for offshore platforms, refineries, chemical plants and mineral processing facilities.
CORPORATE ENGINEER
From 2005 to 2020, I was with Murphy Oil, first as a Staff Engineer, then Field Development Manager, Dalmatian Project Manager, Senior Engineering Advisor for Eagleford Onshore and Dalmatian Subsea Pump and finally as FPS Delivery Manager for King's Quay.
During my time I managed multiple projects and was recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Topsides Facilities, Control Systems and Process Safety.
AUTHOR
In 2020, I started doing research into climate change and a number of other subjects. And I started to write about the long strange journey through America's Problems. The result of that is "Fixing America - An Engineer's Solutions to our Social, Cultural and Political Problems".
