Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and Control System Engineering in Texas and Louisiana

From 1988 to 2004, I was a Control System Engineer with Waldemar S Nelson and Company in New Orleans, Louisiana working projects from Copper Mining Processing Facilities in Indonesia to Major Deepwater Platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.

Designing and implementing instrumentation, control system and process safety designs for offshore platforms, refineries, chemical plants and mineral processing facilities.

From 2005 to 2020, I was with Murphy Oil, first as a Staff Engineer, then Field Development Manager, Dalmatian Project Manager, Senior Engineering Advisor for Eagleford Onshore and Dalmatian Subsea Pump and finally as FPS Delivery Manager for King's Quay.

During my time I managed multiple projects and was recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Topsides Facilities, Control Systems and Process Safety.

In 2022 I formed Cavern Energy Storage LLC to develop underground pumped storage hydroelectric using salt domes. This will allow the Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi Gulf Coast to develop the long duration energy storage that the region needs.

In 2020, I started doing research into climate change and a number of other subjects. And I started to write about the long strange journey through America's Problems. The result of that is "Fixing America - An Engineer's Solutions to our Social, Cultural and Political Problems". If you are truly interested in solutions to our problems that are not based on one political ideology or another. Then please read my book.
